Hi there, bit frustrated. Moved out of FMH in may(occupation order) Been paying all bills/mortgage since then. £480 pm.

My income £2200, now paying rent 585 plus all my bills

Her Income 800 + WTC/CTC/DLA/CB (approx £1900)

Is it reasonable that I keep paying all bills? Or do i stop and go the CSA route.

my SOL says keep squeeky clean, doesnt feel right she has no outgoings bar food, clothes etc.

Also restricting access to my boys, since may seen 16 times, in court yesterday basically paid 977 of her bill for occ order to see my kids for the next week(only 1000-1800) have first court for kids on 7 sept. Cant come soon enough. Want to have shared care of the boys.

Were there provisions in the Occupation Order for you to continue to pay the bills? If so, you would need to apply back to the court to change this.

If not, it may be reasonable for your STBX to pay at least some of the outgoings.

I would suggest getting your solicitor to write to her setting out details of your income and outgoings, explain that you do not fel you can afford to pay all of the outgoings and that you propose to stop doing so or reduce the amount you pay - give at least 1 months notice so that your STBX has the time to set up her own payments.

You can ask your solicitor to ask her to provide details of her income and outgoings if she considers that she will be unable to afford the outgoings without your support - it may be appropriate for you to continue to pay a share of the outgoings if this is thecase.

In either case, you should make it clear that you will continue to pay, as a minimum, at a level equal to the amount you would have to pay in child maintenace based on CSA calculation.
