My partner and i are in the process of seperating. What are we entitled to ?

We hold a joint mortgage with approx £90k asset.We have 2 children living at the address and i shall be moving out.I currently pay £1,600 to partner to cover mortgage bills etc. I pay some household bills.

sorry for the disjointed paragraph, new to this and concerned.

How assets are split depends on lots of factors, if you can answer some questions people can give you some ideas,

Your respective ages;

The number of children you have and their ages;

How many nights the children spend with each parent;

The length of your marriage and any period of pre marriage cohabitation;

Your respective incomes;

Your respective outgoings;

Your assets - both soley held and joint;

Your liabilities

hello, heres additional info requested.

my age 40, partner 39
not married partnered for 10 years
2 children age 4 and 8 residing with mother
im self employed earning approx £35k net
partner works part time approx £13k
outgoings approx £2500 pm
have 1 car approx £5k, 1 caravan approx £10k,approx £90k in house, no savings
i have £6k credit card bill, £9k business overdraft no pension.


that doesnt make for good reading !!
