I wish I dont have to ask this but life is not always what you wish for...

Okay.. I was a good girl.
Did not shoot the *&^%$@#
Did not take drugs
Did not restart smoking
Did not drink until knock out any night

But..raided the fridge too often, esp at insomniac, lonely and desperate 2 am .

Sooooooo.... is there anyone out there with experience of Reductil. Since I am not obese I wont qualify on the NHS but GP mentionend it and its very pricey.
My general diet is good thats why she suggested a cut down in portion size via chemical helpers.
Please dont provide new diets or over the counter pills, just your own experience with that drug and what I can expect..or not...

I have not had any personal experience of this medication, but having read up on the side effects I would be a little concerned.I would research it thoroughly first if I were you. Also it requires a diet and an exercise regime in addition to the drug.

Yes, I ask because of the side effects.
Diet regime will be done, exercise I do anyway and sufficient for my age and I will be regulary monitored (eg blood pressure and cholesterol).
However diet regime is not an option as a solo option. My diet is generally good, no soft drinks, no crisps, no sweets, no cakes, no ready meals. I love to cook, make even my own bread, choose a salad gladly for chips... I just eat far too much out of frustration. Could take up smoking again as a cheaper option ...*only kidding*
Since I a am not obese I should take it anyway only for 2 month or so to give me a kick start and " educate" my stomach in regards to portion sizes. The only reason I can get it is because raised blood cholesterol and since my GP prefers me rather to have a well proven drug under controll instead me dabbling with over the counter stuff.

No other fridge raiders there? :(
