Just got back from my first holiday without HIM and it was surprisingly successful. Booked with a company called the adventure company cos they deal with both couples and singles(and families) and I didn't fancy a purely singles holiday. Holiday was in a group but I went on my own which felt like an enormous, huge, scary step and i very nearly chickened out at the last moment. BUT I didn't and had a really good time. It was a little exhausting creating an impression with so many strangers but I got there! Have come back to a pile of financial crap to deal with and a wedding to go to (3rd one this year!) but dealing with it better than I would have without a break. If anyone is even contmeplating going it alone on holiday, I would thoroughly recommend this company as well as the idea of q group holiday. Go for it!

Thanks for that - I desperately need a holiday but not knowing where to go on my own - scary. Will look into it. xx
