I ran my freezer down before xmas to store the food for the 15 place meal me and my mates did. Now its full again....

But what I did when running my freezer down was get some pasta and some veg. Most people have a bit of pasta in the cupboard and its a great combination to things. Also veg, most people buy. If you have a ready made pizza for instance some carrot (roughly chopped) and perhaps some red chilly's and yoguert make a great salad to vamp up a tired naff old pizza.

Flowery potatoes make great mash or you can dice say spring onion and that makes a great combo with pretty much anything. I had mash with a stir fry once (cos I didnt have noodles). It looked a bit weird until I wacked it all togther. It ended up like a stew. And it wasnt that bad if you closed yr eyes :) C.
