HI everyone....This is my first post after just finding this site.....I get a good vibe from the other posts so here goes. I was married for 23 years and my husband left the day after our anniversary. Things have not been good for about 5 years but I kept thinking I could fix it. He works 6 days and nights a week. Money is not the problem as he was a great provider but he is completely "EMOTIONALLY RETARDED" We have 2 great kids, daughter 18 and a son 15 who are learning to live with the fall out. The best thing is that they seem to be getting better quality time with him and seem to be ok if I am ok. My problem is I kinda just feel NOTHING when it comes to him. I guess I have spent the better part of 5 years pretending it was all good when it was not. I spent much time attending functions on my own and making excuses for him. I do think he has at least an emotional connection to another woman. (Strange text messages & phone calls) He is a different person to everyone else and the people he works with think he is the best, most fun person around. We lived with a grumpy, argumentative &(sometimes)cruel person.

SO I think I just need someone to chat to and share the different stages I am sure I will go through and this seemed like a great place to start. Even writing this has been a step in the right direction...so thanks & I look forward to finding different new friends on this new journey. Linda_g_n
