Such a hard sad situation the amount of people that are all having to go through separation and divorce.
Thought Id start by introducing myself and then look further into the threads here to see which stories have commonalities with me.

Ihave recently left my husband and unlike many other situations there is no affairs involved, in a nutshell there was no attention given to me, Ive been an accessory for the past ten years and after being ignored so long I created a whole new independant life for myself and our children and basically we lived in the same home but were not really running as a family. Obviously I couldnt live in my unhappiness anymore and I called it quits.

He has taken this very hard and after trying counselling etc I still couldnt do it anymore. We have two children and are currently doing the week about thing which was working ok but now I am not so sure.
I am so overwhelmed with all the ups and downs of this rollercoaster ride and its hard to chat to friends who just dont understand which is why Ive come here hoping to find people who are facing similar struggles in their lives...so HI :) Im here!

Hi stargem,
well you are certainly in the right place not only for advice, but also for making freindships with people going through simiar experiences. Popping into the chat room is a good way of getting to know more of us -tends to be busier in the evenings.
your situation sounds a little similar to mine - i made the decsion to end the marriage. i have been separted for 9 months now, and things do start to get settled and a lot easier to deal with.
