I checked out this site a few weeks ago when i was still in my marriage.I didn't have any intention of joining but since then have begun divorce proceedings and am finding myself living with my Mother. Amazing how things can change!
I am struggling. The main reason i have left my partner is due to an allegation of sexual abuse by my son. I didn't or couldn't believe it but then the penny seriously dropped and i had to leave.
I am disgusted by the things i have heard, in the end i couldn't even look at him without wanting to vomit. The really awful thing is i am missing him and still have feelings which i hate myself for. I know that is expected and i know time will heal and all that but it still distresses me.
My Mum has been great, it's not easy for both of us. She has a very structured way of living and i am completely unstructured!
She is putting me up for free so I can pay the horrendous Solicitors fees :S I cannot believe how much this is all going to cost, however i do think it will turn out to be the best few thousand i have ever spent.

Welcome to Wiki. Sorry you need us, especially in your circumstances, but glad you found us.

The feelings you have are entirely normal and totally understandable. However, you may want to consider getting some help to deal with the conflict you currently have and the other feelings that may well develop as time progresses.

Should you consider you would benefit from it, you can get excellent assistance from Ray Wyre Associates here:
www.rwauk.org.uk/
Your social services department can also make recommendations of similar specialists in your area, as can your solicitor.

Take care
Amanda
