Hi, I'm 32 years old, have a daughter who is 2 and am going through a divorce. I felt my marriage was over way beofre I told my husband I no longer loved him.
He left the home Aug 08. Since then I met someone else and we've since split up.
I am being divorced on the grounds of adultery.
I have just received a court document that states 'ancillary releif' that my husband may be granted. This includes: an order for maintenance pending suit, a periodical payments order, a secured provision order, a lump sum order and a property adjustments order. I have no idea what any of this means - can someone help?
Financial background is that I moved into rented accomodation in Nov 08 and our daughter lives with me. He lives in the family home and was made redundant with a hefty payout last Dec 08. I work full time, pay all childcare, receive no maintenance and look after our daughter most of the time.
Thanks

Hello,

I received the file and also, like yourself, read through all these requests from the ex.

However, I was advised my solicitor, that this is just procdures on the documents, as to what one can be entitled to.
