Introducing myself Cheshu

Hi I'm Cheshu I'm a 48 year old bloke, I live in Hertfordshire and am separated after 15 years of marriage, and I have a Teenage daughter.I'm living on my own now, and finding it hard to meet people because I've always felt ill at ease socially, and without the support of a partner I'm finding it harder to socialise and make friends. I hope coming on to this chatroom will help me find people to talk to, so I don't feel so alone.Thanks for your time

I live in Herts, though north as opposed to east, which is where I think you are (not a million miles from Broxbourne I am guessing).

Since my husband moved out I've joined a bookclub and a film club and made lots of new friends as well as contacting old ones.

Get talking to people, just tell yourself you are confident and friendly and act as though you are.

Was good to see you in chat 2nite, hopefully you will feel the benefits as most of us do when we arrive. We all have similar in common, so will be very understanding.

hat is good to either joke, vent or get support and advice, and the longer you stay the more it helps you to realise that you are not alone, honest. I have been here since Oct 08 and they are a great bunch of like minded people.
