No one can judge another.

I stayed in a hell hole of a marriage for much too long, thinking it was the best thing for my daughters because I did not want them to be without their father full time.

I made the wrong decision. However, I could not live without my girls, whatever.

So in my book, you must have had a really good reason for leaving your children with your ex.
