hi everyone. i seperated from my husband 2 years ago leaving the family home. my husband kept everything in the house and i thought or had hoped once we had ressolved our differences we would get back together. however he has another person in his life and there will be no ressolution. but my problem is, he changed locks on door and refuses me entry into the house for my belongings,he as also told court and various other people i took my half, but i never.i have had to buy everything from brand new.he also tell everyone i have stoped him seeing his son,but i havent,i have had to change schools cos my son is getting bullied cos he no longer lives in the area of the school. i onlly changed school so he can get friends where we live now......

i am at my wits end here, i have asked , my now 2nd solicitor to get me keys to my house, which i am joint owner of and i paid deposit for, although i didnt work throughout the marraige and i have people who can back me up and tell judge i didnt work cos my husband didnt allow it. he now says, i am entitled to nothing, and i owe hm 2 years mortgage, but he hasnt paid me a penny in csa, or has he gave me anything thats mine ,and i cant get a solicitor toget my things or my house back, my great grandparents things are in my house, and my grandparents and i am getting nothing ,,,,,i dont know what to do anymore. i do have a womens aid councelling session on monday to help me through this emotionally.

but any advice would be helpfull.....

Hi Sarrky,

The following link will give you an introduction regards divorce in Scotland.

www.wikivorce.com/divorce/Scotland/Frequ...il-partnerships.html

Your entitlement will depend upon your circumstances and Law, not what the X says.

Regards belongings, has your sol not asked for certain items to be delivered? Alternatively, you can ask the police to be in attendance at the MH whilst you collect your belongings. They have to remain impartial though.

Hope this is of help for now to get you started.

Best wishes,

Elle x

i am now using a 2nd solicitor, but both have asked for my things up to over 18 months ago, and nothing, my letters have been ignored. and as for police, they told me to leave the house. well front door, as they wont get involved in domestics, but that was over a year ago when i went once on my own accord to get my things,i am trying to avoid going to the house, cos i want home, and my husband is such a nasty man, and he will get police regardless of how friendly the invite or situation was,cos he got to look better than me all the time and because i cn be hot headed, he makes out i am a nutter.

i am just at my wits end.
