Hello, my name is Karen, I live in a seaside town in Devon and have been married for 14 years. I have 3 children, 13, 11 and 8.

After a very difficult year last year I decided to file for Divorce, I didn't move out until the end of February as he refused to leave. I now live in a rented house with my children, where we are happy and stress free most of the time.

My husband still refuses to believe I have left for good and has harrassed me since I've left. Its bee really hard but I'm sure we'll get through it.

I had my dercree Nisi on the 20 April so not long to go. till have to go to mediation to sort what finances we have.

Am sick of being skint all of the time and owing money here there and everywhere but it'll work out in the end, not worth worrying about.

I found out about this site though a friend who has been a great source of advice.

Thanks for reading.

Karen ;)

Hi Karen,
Welcome to wiki, you will find lots of help and support here, whether legal or emotional we are all here for each other.

Ask questions, blog or go into chat (bit scary at first), let them know you are new and you will find it easier.

I am in Devon too so feel free to PM me. There are a few of us in the west country. There is a night out in Bath in July if you need a night out. See under events list on the left hand side of the page.

Take care of you and the kids
xx
