:cheer: :cheer: Just do nt know where to begin.Separated since 2007. Since found out had been seeing someone else for goodness knows how long. Handed over money in my name that was to be investment property turned out to be love nest. I had insisted it went in joint names.Thank God. But there s a battle to come and Im dreading it. For the first time ever I m avoiding this battle. I m using retraining, the kids anything to delay. I know I can only begin to feel better when I take charge of this situation so I m hoping this site might give me the support to get on with it.

Hallo and welcome to Wikivorce

You may not want the battle, but you may find your ex pre-empts you. If you start divorce proceedings you do have a bit more control over things.

Anyway post your queries on here and pop into the chat room for company!

Nell

Hi Jane

Getting things started is so scary... my petition is still sitting on the table but this week it is going to the court...

You will have more control if you petition, and that may be the first step to recovery (I am hoping so anyway) Holding off has been a way of having the upper hand for me but now I want it all sorted and over with.

You have found a great place here, everyone is very supportive, as Nell says pop into chat some evening.
