Hi all

I've just discovered this website and it seems to have a lot thats been on my mind! Its a relief to get here. I'm finding it hard to find people who are going through the same issues as me.

I have these questions in my mind that are like a washing machine in my head and it never switches off!:(

Can anyone give me any advice on how to work out maintenance - I have 2 kids and I'm currently seperated. I'm working but as the kids are both under 4yrs I've just put in my resignation. I tired to work but found it v hard and now will probebly will have to claim maintenance. My ex is paying costs on the house but now I have to turn that into a cash figure.

What do i take into account? I was thinking hte mortgage, kids costs and bills is there anything else?

Hello

If you mean child maintenance for two children it would be 20% of net income after pension and NI, the csa have a calculator you can use

Hi thanks for the reply

My ex has a company and pays out dividends. The mediatior told me to work out what I think is a resonable amount per month.

I kind of have an idiea htat I can say it will be the kids costs and + house bills + is there anything else I should include so that I dont leave anything out?
