Just joined up, thought I'd better say 'Hi' to fellow people in similar predicaments.

Been seperated for two months now after 6 years of marriage - living back with family whilst the wife remains in the family home with our two boys.

Thought I was coping well but had a breakdown at work about a month ago so I've been on anti-depressants since. Thought they were working until yesterday when I had an anxiety attack after I dropped the boys back after a morning together.

Going back to the doctors tomorrow - I know this is all for the best but it is hard at times.

Looks like a great site full of useful information and leadds - gonna go and have a look around!

hallo rj72 and welcome

You are going through a really traumatic time and your feelings are quite normal, if difficult to live with.

I spent about 5 months on anti-depressants and had 9 months of counselling and now feel much stronger.

But I still have my blips! Been separated nearly a year now.

pop into chat to talk to other people in your situation and even some that have moved on!

give yourself a chance, 2 months is no time. it will take months, maybe a couple of years to get over what has happened.

all the best xx
