Stumbled across this helpful site, being half way across the world going through similar experiences, hello to all of you.

I am in the process of divorce, my husband wanted to divorce me without telling me, has his father orchestrated and filed the petition in France to take our young daughter away from me and her half sister (from my previous marriage).
Does not want to disclose his assets, saying all property and assets under his name are 'gifts' from his father and wishes to leave me and the girls with nothing.

Hi there, Welcome to Wiki :).

I am not sure we have any French lawyers lurking about to help you with the legal aspects of your case, but there is plenty of support here should you want it.
