Hi
Im 47 years of age with two children, a boy who is married and he is going to be a dad at the end of august and a girl who lives with her partner and has two girls.
I found a lovely guy and lived with him for six years, but on the 14th of march this year he died suddenly aged 50. My problem is he was legally married but legally seperated for 14 to 16 years i think. He did not leave a will, the house im in he bought and i helped with the bills out of our joint account. Do i have any rights? so say yes and others no im confussed help

I am sorry for your loss Bagpussy

When you say he was legally separated, what exactly do you mean? Was he paying maintenance for his wife, did they sort out the finances?

I don't know about this situation but I hope someone can help you very soon.

Hi thank you it means that his wife has no claim on his money when he died because she signed a seperation agreement.
I hope so too.
