Hi

Just found this website while looking to see if the money I am expecting from my husband was unreasonable - as he seems to think.

Only found out last week that he has been having an affair for about 4 months and she was not the first. We have been together for fourteen years, married for 8.5 years and have 2 children 6 and 2.

Going to see a solicitor on tuesday as I need to get financial and childcare arrangements sorted quick.

I feel very alone in the evenings and wonder if I will ever feel happy again. Who is going to want a divorced 30 year old with two children????

Hi Clairee and welcome to wiki...you will find lots of support here, come into chat when you feel ready as so many of us are going through the same thing. Never feel you are alone. Lots of hugs and take care. This site helped me so much when In was going through my divorce and I would have been a total wreck without it.

Stop worrying now about who would want you - firstly you have to heal. When you love yourself and feel confident you will attract others - and you will be strong enough to manage on your own if that is what is best.

People get married at all ages, in their 50s, 60s and 70s. And they take on partners with children, health problems, all sorts.

I am nearly 53 and separated for a year from my husband and I can honestly say I have never felt happier and love my freedom.

Pop into chat to meet others.

Let us know how you get on with your solicitor.
