Hi all,

Decree Nisi pronounced today. A small forward step in a jungle of madness. Its been 2 years since we separated and nothing at all has actually been resolved in all that time......... much stalling, side-stepping, ignoring and undermining but no actual resolution.

I have not moved on with my life as much as I would have liked, partly I think because of his lack of cooperation and the sheer energy it has taken to deal with him and his tactics - even when they involve completely ignoring me.

But we have a court timetable now, had FH in May and FDR in August. Obviously he has filed late and witheld information but Im on the road now.......can't believe its actually happening!

Hi Mrs A

it is definitely a step forward. My nisi was pronounced yesterday.

We have been separated since September and Consent Order is with this solicitor - and has been for the last 3 weeks!!!!

Hopefully this will get sorted this week and will go into court. I really want this rubber stamped before I apply for absolute.

Good luck!

I have a decree nisi but nothing at all has been discussed properly much less agreed concerning finances. I am thinking that xtb, since he's in such a hurry to get divorced and marry his g/f, will apply for Decree Absolute the minute he can, which is in September.

Does anyone know if he can push the absolute through without any of this being done? Do I have to comply simply because he wants it regardless of the fact that division of assets (what little there are...) have not been agreed?

I, too, would love to be shot of this and be able to move on once and for all, but cannot see how this can be done without agreeing finances?? Seems awfully risky to me. Anyone out there who knows anything about this, I'm all ears.

well done to you both, can I ask you both how long the nisi took to come through from submission of directions for trial?

My nisi took 8 weeks from putting into court. Apparently York court very busy.

I think mine happened around the time of the FH, so that would be 7-8 weeks
