Hi,
Dont know if I should be on here but trying to support Daughter is driving me insane.Had a few Divorces in the past so Ive been
through the mill myself and know what its like.My problem is a bit different to the usual, daughter left husband with children,6 weeks ago she already has a residence hearing in a weeks time.Does anyone think this is unusual to get to court in such a quick time?Husband is seeking Residency of the 2 children my daughter has offered shared access.Any comments would be very welcome.

With residence/shared residence time is of the essence because once a new status quo has been established it is difficult to disrupt the arrangement without disturbing children's feelings of security. Although the first hearing is next week it may take many months to resolve the issue, particularly if a report is required as the organisation that prepares most reports has a backlog in many areas.
