[img] Im divorcing a man with bpd (borderline personality disorder). :S There's nowhere he wont go to get what he wants & hes much more financially astute than I am. Ive been told to find a solicitor who is aware and able to deal with this kind of a divorce. How do i find someone in my area (Preston). Any ideas and is there someone out there who has been/is in the same situation. Its really scary for a lot of reasons and its taken me ages to find the courage to see this through.:silly:

Wee bit difficult to give an answer to this one because you don't give any information about the issues that you think might cause complications.

As an illustration, solicitors sometimes need to call in specialist accountants if there are questions of the books being fiddles ; or specialist valuers where there is a dispute about the worth of a business.
