Hi, Well it says say hello so here goes..

Hello.. I am a 30 year old female in need of a bit of help. i have my divorce and with that a court order for the sale of the house. My ex lives there still(and has been for last 3 years) while divorce etc went through. I had been paying half the mortgage as well as my rent but have had to stop as can not afford it. I walked away from taking anything of his Or money of mine tied up in his business beacuse I really needed to get out and away from him.
The problem beeing is that he is making it almost impossible for people to view the house and he is actively lying to them to stop it being sold. I am in Scotland and need to know what further steps I can take to get the house sold. Even the estate agent the court appointed is pulling her hair out in fustration at having to deal with him.

I need to get on with my life but can not as money for deposit for new place tied up in that house.

Help??

Thanks

Hi Alisexis. I dont know scottish law sorry. But I suspect that a letter from your solicitor should be a 1st step. Then I think if that dont work you will need to go back to court and enforce the order. Just a guess mind. C

Thanks for that, My fault should have said letters are no good beacuse regardless of who sends them (and this has been done by sherrif officers) they are ignored. So I need to find some way of taking him to court to enforce the order just not sure what would be the best way of doing this. :( The only one thing he deals with is if a court has forced him.
