What a good idea. A place to air grievances, ask questions, tell yourstory to people who are interested. Unlike some of my acquaintences who simply get bored or do not want to get involved. my husband was chaqrming and caring when I met him 9 months after my previous husband died. I told him I had inherited quite a bit of money. He told me he was just about to sell his company for £1 million. Being vulnerable because I was still grieving, I fell for it. Two years later I suffered a breakdown - partly brought on by the beginning of a realisation he was not what he said he was. I ended up paying off £20,000 of his debt and foolishly giving him £25,000 to get his company 'ready to sell'. The company folded shortly afterwards. My breakdown was long and severe and my husband did stay and look after me (but with access to my money which he spent freely I cannot say this was entirely altruistic) When I recovered I found out his life was a fabrication. His masters in psychology did not exist, his history as an educated man a fabrication. Lies upon lies unfolded and I kicked him out. He begged me to give him another chance saying he would change. He did not and |I suffered a further with him getting more aggressive and abusive I finally left him 6 months ago when he liedin therapy and was caught out. He cant help himself - hes just a compulsive liar. But he is good, and he has convinnced my friends he is a good and kind person who simply had a few problems. He now wants money from me - what a tosser!
