Hi this is my first post and really dont know where to start. But I have been withmy partner for 9 years prior to getting married 18 months ago and am totally unsure of where I stand financially - does the past 9 years count for anything or in the divorce will only the past 18 months be relevant? Please someone put my mind at rest until I can get an appointment this week at a solicitors.

thankyou so much

The time you co-habited will also be taken into account,

The inclusion of cohabitation is contained within FLA Scotland 2006 Act.
