Hi all
I am hoping this website will help me (already I feel it will).
Ive been separated for over three years now but there is no sign of a resolution to my divorce.
My wife is in posession of all the assets and as long as there is no resolution I dont get anything.
She has instigated a judical separation which she continued with for two years but didnt conclude and then she started on a divorce which she doesent appear to be moving forward.
I got another solicitor this year to try to move things forward but got rid of him a couple of months ago cos he was just running up big bills and not achieving anything. Looking for a way forward. I would like to have closure on this.

Get yourself a better solicitor (there are some links on here) and push to move things forward. There is lots of advice and some of the tools on here are great

Good Luck
Janey

Hi propunt,

I was in a similar position...x held all control of the assets and I couldnt find a sol that would stand up to his sol...its a tough place to be and thanfully rare...hence so many are in disbelief.

In the end I represented myself...stressful when attending a neandrathal court in a country with a small close knit fam law community...however we have to do what it takes to be free...and as hard as it was, I remained fair and reasonable and matters have almost come full circle.

There is a lot of support/knowledge/experience/tragedies/successes to learn frrom here. Good luck and take care of yourself.

Elle x
