You have to decide whether you want him or not - just because he is back in the house, does not mean that you can not do anything about the arse. My solicitor told me that it was still possible to get a divorce if the husband was in the home although it is harder, you have to live separate life totally, don't talk to him, don't care for him in anyway, cook, wash, iron etc, don't eat meals with him -
You do Still have a choice, don't feel that you are totally trapped, there is a way out -turn some of your anger, frustration, grief, into positive action against him.
I wish you well. I am trying to start new life after 25 years, and it is hard, old friends taken his side (mostly because they all now divorced themselves and want yet another arse to join them on Friday and Saturday nights getting bladdered)- they all sick and not least bit happy really !

Hello, sorry that you find yourself on this site, but you will find loads of advise from fellow members.

I don't often post, although I check-in every day.

I've been married for 32 years, separated for the last 18 months. Waiting for the divorce to go through.

I took my husband back after I discovered his affair many years ago (although, I suspect, there may have been others). Having discovered his latest fling I decided that our marriage was no longer viable.

We have all suffered - myself, my ex, our children and our grandchildren.

Regrettably I allowed my ex to push my friends aside and therefore only have myself and family for solace.

However, he appears to be ill and unhappy. I sometimes feel sorry for him, but I need to look after myself. As soon as the FMH is sold I will be able to start my life afresh.

Would I change things - absolutely not. I did not choose to find myself in this place, but I now know that I can come through this.

Take care, whatever you decide to do, but please look after yourself.
