Hi new here, though I have been seperated around 15 months. I am trying to sort out a lot of financial stuff as have an 8year old daughter. My wife was not working and I was paying for everything. She is now earning more then me and expecting me to pay the majority of her housing costs. I am living at my parents. I have the house in my name and am thinking of signing everything over to her as the capital value of the house is worth more then 9/10 years maintanance payments. I would rather do that and get on with my life, rather then going through lengthy demoralising legal battles.

Not sure of the legalities of this. The other thing is my wife is seeing someone else now so I am feeling very emotionally fragile at present.
Do not want to make rash decisions but feel life cannot go on in its current form.

Hi Loneranger. Dont be so quick to give away what is rightly yours. Best thing is seek some legal advice. If she is earning more than you then she may be able to buy you out and at least you will have some cash for your future. She may be eager for this to happen anyway esp if she has someone new. Dont play into her hands. Decide in haste, repent at leasure. C.
