Hi R - Hope you will be "flying" soon! Yes, it does take time but you are amongst friends here and there will always be people to support you. It kind of helps to know you are not alone in this situation. Nearly a year down the line for me and I'm not quite flying, but am kind of getting ready for take off, sometimes. Hope it gets a little better each day for you. Take care, Chrys

Hi Chrys,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my message introducing myself to this lovely supportive community. It was kind of you to take the time to write. I'm glad to hear you are getting to the point where take-off is within sight, and good luck to you! I am stuck on the ground in the mud at the moment, but it is good to know that there are many poeple out there offering support, and who are themselves living proof there is a runway beckoning!
Seriously, I really appreciate your kind message, and wish you all the very best.

unfortunatley there is no time limit as we have all come from differing positions and we all react in different ways. you may find you start to feel beter then have a setback. But the setbacks become less frequent which shows you are starting to really recover. i am at Consent Order stage and the future looks very scary but in lots of ways my life is a lot happier.

When my husband left i went around in a bit of a daze for a while. Through wiki i have met some wonderful friends who understand completely about the whole divorce process and the emotional highs and lows.

You will get there so keep posting and peeps will help as much as they can.

big hug for today xx

Hi rmm3

I would love to be able to post something positive for you but currently I'm still in the hanger in bits hoping for a rebuild. Like many others have said everyone must take things are their own pace and try not to rush into anything. Like you I have found the support on this site to be great, I still hope to rebuild things but it is good to see so many people who have been through the whole thing coming out the other side with out being a total fruit case.

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to reply to me. It's a tough place we are in. Let's keep hanging in there together! It's easier in company.
All good wishes
