Hi, my wife recently filed for divorce after our relationship broke down a few months ago. We were married abroad and she is not a british citizen and i beleive she was in the country illegally as i was working away most of the time she was in the country married to me. I had a property which i bought before i was married and i bought another one whilst we were married. Her name is not on any deeds and she did not contribute anything. I obviously want to make sure she is ok when we split but am very worried that i will loose everything i have worked so hard for. We were married for 4 years (two of which abroad) and have no children any advice would be hugely appreciated.
