Just joined so thought i'd say hello. Separated 4 months after almost 21 yrs marriage. No one else involved(never has been)just drifted apart, although I was one to call time because I was miserable and knew my wife wasn't happy either. Have 1 17 yr old daughter who has been wonderful, I offered to move out to minimise disruption as she is still at school.
Finding things really hard at present, money tight and staying in a small flat - miss my daughter, my dogs and my home.
My wife and I are still on speaking terms although a bit strained at present ( I'm sure she finds it hard too). Just going through the whole spectrum of emotions: guilt, sadness, bitterness, lonliness etc etc. The one thing I do know is that I made the right decision, however hard. Just finding it difficult to know how to move on at present. Things can only get better as the song goes!

Sorry you find yourself here. Well done for remaining civil. If you can come to agreements between you it not only saves money on legal fees but also doesn't damages long term family relations. It does get better as many here can testify. :)
