Hi Everyone,

I'd like to know whether anyone can advise me on my options. My husband and I are still trying to sort our marriage out but I'd like to be prepared in case he decides he cannot live with me any longer.
We've been married for 7 years, the last 2 years I've been having an affair. We have 2 children under 2. My husband has been neglecting me and not shown any interest in spending time with the children until after my affair has been discovered.
I come from an EU country. Not sure what else might be important to know.
Thanks for any advice or ideas.

Hi Pipsqueak,
Thanks for your reply. I felt neglected, unimportant, unloved and invisible. Whenever I tried to talk to him, it was like banging my head against a wall, a total waste of time and effort as nothing ever changed. I am happy here though I don't have many friends here and my family live abroad too, but I do speak to them daily. I love my husband but I am not sure whether I can be in love with him again. He loves me and hates me at the same time. He confronted me with his suspicions and I confessed...
I'm wondering whether I could look after our children should we divorce or would it be him who gets to be with them as I am a foreign national.
My husband's not a fan of counselling and I have seen a lady about a year ago who was no help at all.
