Hello,

I've been reading the site for a while as a guest and found it really helpful and full of useful advice especially for people like me who just cannot afford solicitor fees

I am an applicant in a very messy divorce which has been going on since Feb.

My husband of one year left me for another woman a week after I signed him onto the deeds of my house and we took out a joint mortgage. He went missing and lied to family about his wherabouts so it took 3 months to track him down. He left me a a terrible financial mess which is the reason why I am having to divorce him. A) to get my house back which I have worked very hard for many years to afford, and B) to ensure that he repays all the money that he ripped me off for.
I am using a solicitor for advice only and self representing due to the enormous costs. As a result of him leaving I am completely broke but because i earn a lot i am not entitled to legal aid.

hence me joining here. I am now getting stuck. I can write statements fine but need to get hold of the right forms.

1. where do I find a Statement of Issues Form G to download? I've searched HCMS and other sites with no luck. Can anyone tell me where to find one?

2. Is there a standard form for the chronology and if so where do I find that? I have already written a chronology which I submitted with my application.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Rowanswood,
Forms are downloadable from relevant court website for free or obtainable from relevant court office for a small fee. from experience.....keep every document, correspondence, statement, receipt......you never know what will be needed and its evidence evidence evidence and the lodging of such evidence to prevent objection to reference to it.
Best of luck

PS regards the chronology.....mine was only to be accepted if the oppositiion read and agreed first.....I chose to omit it as it was intended to assist the judge who preferred to read thru 8 yrs.....so why give a breakdown to a sol willin to bust my ass!?
