Hi Linda
Oh yes it sounds familiar, six weeks after our third child was born, my husband chucked in a well paid job, to run his own business.
Trouble is he didn't have any sort of business to run, borrowed money to try and set something up all without discussion or thought for the family!
Now we are heavily in debt, but as your solicitor says, I am not liable but will have to split the debt at the end!!! Like you trying to wrestle with that little voice is very difficult. For years I have gone along with his whims and schemes, thinking it will come good in the end. But enough is enough, my girls will better off in the long run. Don't get me wrong he is a good father but his idea of what a wife and family should be are not mine! Only you can decide what to do, but take heart that whatever you decide I am sure will be the best path in the long run even for your family.
