Hello all, am new to this internet communication. The ex would never have allowed such freedom. I separated in September 2007 after hitting "rock bottom" in a 14 year marriage with a man who physically and mentally abused me. We have three wonderful children but life is a mess....... i am working through it but it's takes time. I'd just like to chat with like-minded people who can relate to the complications of life.... i have many great friends, all of whom have been bricks over the past months. The problem is, they all have wonderful husbands, who do family things over the weekends or holidays. I am starting to feel a little burden, odd bod, loner - how ever you want to put it. My social life revolves around the supermarket!!! well not quite.... but it does give me a reason to go out!!! Just message me if you fancy. x

There is life and there is always hope. I feel shunned, especially in the political melee of the school playground. Most of my friends are attached and are parents and i do feel awkward as i may be intruding on their lives.

Oh i forgot, welcome bethan, i am a bit new as well :)

Hi Bethen. Yep know the story. Your friends quickly become bored with your tale of woe. And the only people that you can realy talk to is others that have been thru this. But the good news is you have people on here that are walking the same path as you and are doing the things you are doing. We wont get tired of you. F

Stay positive, think positive, act positive as my old teacher used to say.
