Sheesh, I haven't gone into this part in my story on here but reading yours made me relise I'm not alone.

Your scenario is very similar to what bought about the wound in our relationship 2 years ago, but which has only recently led to our separation.

With both kids safely out of the way in school my stbx soon got bored. She was sitting on a healthy income from CB & WFTC so, rather than looking for a P/T job as I suggested, she spent much of her time online instead.

So, one night she was out for a run in her car and I got a call from a m8 who was out for a walk. He'd seen my OH park, a guy in another car park next to her, get out and get in my OH's car, and then they drove off. He gave me the bloke's car description and registration and, when she came home, I told her about the call and casually asked her who it was she'd met. She fobbed me off with a story about a friend who needed a lift but had been drinking and shouldn't be driving, but it was enough to get me suspicious.

Days later I was out and about and actually spotted the same car (it's a small community), saw the bloke (it wasn't who she'd said, surprise surprise) and tackled her about it. She said that she was trying to make new friends and they had an old organisation in common. She then went on that it was I who was unwilling to make friends with him as a couple which was when I remembered that she'd mentioned finding someone with a common link through Friends Reunited but, as I didn't have the same link interest I wasn't particularly bothered.

Anyway, I started to wonder what else she was up to so, as I work in IT, it was easy to log what she was doing. When I read the first log my heart froze. She was on MSN displaying herself via webcam to blokes she'd meet in chatrooms.

I tackled her once again and we almost separated there and then, but the kids arrived home at the wrong time and were very upset so, after a stressful couple of days, we decided to give it another try.

Anyway, that was 2 years ago and, AFAIK she's not strayed that way again, but we've just moved further apart since then, hence why we've separated.

BTW she didn't think what she'd done was bad enough to merit the mouthful I gave her at the time, yet when a female we both know recently showed me her nipple peircings on webcam my stbx was not amused. Rules for some, rules for others, eh!
