Hi,

I'm Martin

No point in small talk right now. My wife has met another man and is going to leave me.

We've been together 25 years and although it hasn't always been smooth sailing it's been mostly wonderful.

I'm still desperately in love with her and I want her to come back to me.

At the moment I can see no future apart from a big black hole of despair.

Hi Martin

You've come to the right place - I have had so much support and kind words from some lovely people on here. You are in great pain at the moment and need to be kind to yourself.

Posting on here helps alot

Hi Martin

Yes, this is a terrible time. Many here have experienced what you are going through now; including me. The pain is shocking as you are discovering. When you feel able to give more details of what happened, it will help us to try to help you.

Are you still living together? How long has the affair being going on? Tell us only what you are able to.

In the meantime, make yourself a regular visitor and visit the chat room. It can seem a bit cheery at times but everybody there will understand your pain and will try to help if they can.

Andy

Hi Martin

Sorry to hear about your situation. It so hard to see how your going to get through things but you will and lots of people here to help. We all know the pain and heartache involved in a break-up and we help and support each other. Keep posting and we will try to help you too.

Sending you a big hug as right now you probably need one.
