Hi,

It may be that I am particularly tired tonight Suzy, but I haven't got a clue as to what you are talking about.

You'll never believe this but I don't either.

Also, "Divorce Fair"! Kind of tacky don't you think?

Yeh, that's why it's called the Starting Over Show - but the press do like to present things in, shall we say, a basic light.

The event is focused on the wellbeing/personal development side cause that is what helped me the most. It's hard to negotiate your way through lawyers and financial crisis if you are scared and have the self esteem of a a slug (which is how I felt). I have to admit though, it was good friends who helped the most.

Hi Young Again

My eyes are going squiffy and I need to go to bed too. It probably doesn't make sense cause it was carrying on from earlier postings in the same stream. The gist is I think this is the most positive place I've found online to support people going through relationship break ups and I am learning why it is that there is so much cynicism about anyone wanting to offer a live event full of resources to help give information and inspiration (ie. the Starting Over Show in Brighton).

I am finding lawyers and financial people who genuinely are angry at how people are preyed on by some disreputable companies, but there are plenty who are genuinely offering a valuable service (I imagine that is true of all the services promoted on this site via its advertising). I am hoping SOS will give people access to some good ethical companies and lawyers who believe in collaboration and not an adversarial approach. I know lots of people who don't even know what collaborative law is or financial mediation. I am hoping to try and change that.

Night!
