Hi Jamie,

I wish I had found this site as quickly as you have, because then I wouldn't have been pushed into the situation I now find myself in. I would have taken things more slowly, allowed myself time to think, to get my head straight b4 before forced into going to see a sol.

The help support and strength of the people on this site is incredible. Both with advice, information and most importantly emotional support.

We are all at different stages in this horrible process and from different sides, but that doesn't matter here, no-one judges.

If you need any help you know where we are.

Good luck and I hope you don't have too bumpy a ride resloving the issues surrounding this situation. :-)

Jamie,

Sorry to hear that you are going through exactly the same thing as I'm currently going through. I'm a month into the mess that you are going through, my wife ended (or so I believed) an affair (of only a couple of weeks) and I've tried to knuckle down and make things work. However, she's baited and lied to me since then. It feels like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster with my wife in the driving seat.
The last straw (although I'm sure that I'll keep trying) was on Thursday when a solicitors letter arrived stating that she was starting devorce proceedings:side:.
15 years and 4 children gone  in a couple of months. I feel for you as I feel for myself. I try to be strong and rational but it's so so hard, as I'm sure it is for you.
I hope and pray that it's all a big mistake, but...
I was lucky in finding this site so early and the so very numerous stories that I've read make my heart sink.
Keep it together as I'm trying to do.

Graham.
