Hi everyone. I am inquiring for information for a friend in the UK who is going through spousal abuse ( mostly mental but some physical as well) Her ex has moved out but as his name is on the title, and has a key, he feels the right to enter whenever he pleases and do what he pleases. If she changes locks, he will break in anyway and the abuse may get worse. What are her rights.

At wits end and the stress is causing major weight loss.

That is awful and can't be allowed to continue. Your friend has to contact the Police if she is in fear of her safety, please urge her to do this as soon as possible before something serious happens.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly who can give you more specific advice. Please let us know what happens.

It must be really hard for you being so far away and not able to help, you're a good friend.
