Hi actually posted the same query early thi morning. It's the first time I haveused any kind of forum, so still not too sure how it all works. However i have had a little response which is great, beats having the whole mess just going a round in my own head.

Divorced in 2001 under the Clean Break scheme. Came home earlier this month to a letter from the ex saying a court was going to let him take me to court to get equity out of my home! The man is a complete parasite. However, his attempt to extort money out of me has caused a lot of aniety. I'm hoping at the end of the day, Clean break divorce lives-up to it's name.

if you had a clean break ordered by the court then he can not come back to claim more, double check your order to be on the safe side.
if it was a clean break, it might be worth writing to his solicitor informing them of this and enclose a copy of the order.
kind regards
dawn

Hi Dawn thank you for your comment. It was all a huge shock at first, but feel a bit more confident. Got in touch with my original solicitor, who thought the ex's letter was barking mad. but am not complacent, he's a parasite who cant make an honest living. I had to train as a nurse to get the kids and me off income support. Feel better for that! Thanks.
