Hey Puffas

Welcome to wiki. I can relate to so many things in your post, particularly the children bit. we had decided to start trying for kids within the next year then he announced he was off. I realise I am young enough (i'm 30) to have children in the future, but I can't imagine ever trusting anyone enough to start a family with them after all that has happened. I'm sure and know from several close friends who are divorced that having children and being divorced is very very hard, but NOT having them can be so hard too and it's very difficult (I find) to find many people in this situation. I have no great pearls of wisdom for you really, other than to take all the support people offer you, but not necessarily all the advice and to take things a day, half a day or even an hour at a time. I really wanted my recovery process to be linear- every day a little better than the day before- but it's so not like that- sometimes going round and round in circles. Don't be surprised if this happens. We have just reached a financial settlement and although I'm really angry at how much he's costing me, the relief I feel is huge. If things really are over, then settling things financially will really help you to feel more secure. I hope you are ok.
