today I think is a good day.

Well done for taking some decisive action. It puts the power back in your control; and it is the first step to your new life without him; and allows you to think clearly by ridding his stuff from your home.

There will be good days; there will be bad days. In your bad days; come here and seek refuge amongst fellow sufferers! In your good days; come here and support others less fortunate.

Some days you will still love him, the next day you will hate him. All quite natural. the mind plays tricks and you will mourn the good times, the friendship and the love that you once shared.

As Oprah once said: He wasn't hatched in hell to make your life a misery!

...it's just some days it feels like that!

Changing the locks creates a psycological barrier. In reality he can still break in so hide what you have to hide. Inform neighbours as well. Mine were more than helpfull in warning me if she turned up. Oh the stuff for collection. In bin bags outside the door !!! Show him you mean business !!! Good luck. Keep posting.
