Hi. Been divorced for just over 2 years now. My ex had an affair with our then next door neighbour (married to him now), which was the catalyst for our divorce. Since separating, she has been very difficult over my access to the children and this continues today... My reasons for joining the site are to get some advise on my current dilemma (which will be posted in the relevant forum category) and to offer advice to others in a similar situation.

Welcome Dorset Father,

I would think that in arrangements for the children and contact, leaving the court and lawyers as a last resort is a good idea.

If your wife is being obstructive and nasty, then you need to gauge whether she is ever going to obey a court order.

This is a huge problem, otherwise there would have been no need for Fathers for Justice.

I hope you can find the help you need here.

Good luck,

YA
