On the 4th of January this year my wife told me "it's over.. I'm done"..I could not believe what I was hearing?..she says its because I've neglected her over the past year or too...I tried to explain that it's all stress related and working hard to pay for new house...(which she wanted)..bit now she won't talk to me and try to work it out..she is so cold...now she wants me to move out...which I refused!..I love my wife so much...we have 2 girls (twin's)...a few months ago she started a new job...and has changed since then?..she is constantly on her phone.. texting...?..and being so cold to me...I think she is having an affair??..she now got in her head that...she wants to take my nice (newer) car to work..and not use her older one?...I've been a zombie for weeks...can't believe this is happening!..I met her when she broken up with her ex boyfriend...but I never started anything straight away... I've been divorced before (when I was younger)..I can't believe this is going to happen again..and putting my poor girls through this!..

You cannot really just sell it without her agreement.

If you find that you are heading for a divorce then you will need to negotiate a financial settlement as part of the split.

She sounds like she wants to stay in the house with the kids and you seem to want to sell.

This disagreement will clearly need to be resolved one way or another.

When the time comes I suggest you consider our Help With The Financial Settlement process
service as a low cost way to help you to resolve matters without a solicitor.

Thanks for all the support...I also am still living in the house
I'm currently paying all the bills but she only paying for food and only buy very little food on a daily basis..I moved from Wales to England to be with her and her two other children.
I've put all my life and attention into this marriage so not made any friends of my own so I was hoping that we could agree to put house on the market and go separate ways..it would be beneficial and stability for me and twins on days I do see them..if I was to be told to leave the house then I would have nowhere to go and could not afford another place and won't be able to see the twins so surely that would not benefit the girls in anyway?..

Are you joint owner then you have a right to stay. Check the land registry. Then start making sure any conversation you have you start recording them either in an email or something. You need to be careful of her plotting to get you chucked out of the house under an occupation order or a non-molestation order. Thats what my ex-wife tried to do. So any conversations make sure there is some distance between you so she doesnt feel threatened and record the conversation in an email
