Thankyou for your kindness mane your response to my message. I have spoken with him about grounds and tried to go for some non inflammatory ones but I can’t help feeling I don’t want this. I wanted a separation or at the very least a no fault grounds for divorce. I’ve even accepted my part in my behaviour and feel really sorry for him but why am I doing all the hard work here?

It seems like he has just skipped off into his new life with a new crush and left me sorting it all out. He throws me cash when I need it which I have declared but still, I feel totally controlled by the situation.

The only good news I’ve had recently is my car was fixed without any more money being spent on it and the lady at the job centre has been really supportive and kind !

I told my landlady my husband has walked out and he was the main earner, and asked for him to be removed off the tenancy agreement but this will mean a new credit check and an assessment of my ability to pay I guess. It’s the only way I will get full housing benefit. She could up the rent or give me notice!

The whole thing is an absolute maze to navigate. I’m under such mental and emotional strain right now.

Sorry to unload all of that though.
