Hi all ??
im another “never thought it’d happen to me” who’s completely lost on what to do, where to go etc

The only advice I’ve been given is that mediation is needed to proceed, is this right? I don’t want to be anywhere near my ex.

Ive been separated since August last year when I found out my husband had abused my daughter when she was about 16. He’d been her dad since she was 21/2 ? and we’ve been married 25 years.

She’s been brave and reported it to the police and I’ve given a statement supporting her so face to face contact won’t be pleasant

He wants to sell the house and split proceeds 50/50 but I’m on a much lower income than him (he earns approx 18k more than me) and still have 2 of our 4 children at home (although they are 19 & 23)

I’ve said I need a higher % to be able to buy a home to live with the kids as my wage means I can’t borrow much and his will.

my mental and physical health are shot, I’ve taken time off work because of it. If it wasn’t for my kids I wouldn’t be here

TBH I’m lost and angry and petrified of the future.

please help
