Just starting an amicable separation (long may it last) and trying not to involve solicitors. As part of separation from my wife we want to transfer joint ownership (joint tenants) of house to change from both our names to be in her name only. Completing a TR1 form and I assume the transferor is just my name (not both our names as appear o the property register/deeds) and transferee is her name only, is that correct?

Yes that's correct. I went through this a few months ago.

Thanks Vigorate, I rang the Land Registry in the end and they told me to put both our names down as transferors even though my wife is then both transferor and transferee. I guess I’ll see if that’s wrong soon enough!
