That's tough. You came out of an abusive marriage feeling vulnerable and wanting to be loved and cared for, and your 2nd husband wasn't able to be your knight in shining armour.

Well, we all want to be loved - me too - but in order to be loved we must be lovable and love ourselves. Look after yourself and don't rush into things. Heal yourself. I've also accepted that if I never meet someone special again, although that's sad, I can live happily by myself and don't need to be bitter and lonely.

I've been in a marriage which was very lonely and its much better being lonely alone, than in a room with someone else who isn't able to care for you.

You are in good company here!

Hi Daisy, welcome to Wikki. I'm sorry you're being through this too, divorce is never easy for the one thats being hurt. Its so sad that your 2nd marriage didn't work out as you say you truly love him like a soulmate. I can never understand why someone gets married then decides they want out soon after!
You are among good people here now, we will support you through this, be kind to yourself now & know that in time you will feel better.
Cindy
