Well hello there folks,

Joined yesterday,as I like the upbeat feel of the place, though I most definitely also recognise the need for people to vent, often in the most sad & seemingly desperate ways,(that is NOT a judgement call, incidentally)as it's vital that we don't allow that negative energy to devour us from within.

I'm not in a good place,by any stretch of the imagination at the moment, but USUALLY have my own coping mechanisms well in place, and so far haven't fallen too deeply into the pit....yet.

Here's hoping I can maybe make 1 or 2 positive contributions along the way.

Hallo Diogenes and welcome.

You never know when you might need some help - or alternatively when your help might be needed.

Thank you for the welcome No Regrets,it's much appreciated.

Not here 'cos I've recently divorced....14years ago actually.

But still emotionally & psychologically raw after kicking both my DS 16 & DD 18 out separately within the past 10 days, and sending them to live with their Mother after they've lived here with me alone for 99% of the time since the divorce.

I'll take full responsibility for MY actions, but probably hoping against hope that they can one day take even a fraction of that for theirs.

Life must go on,as they say.

Hi Diogenes, welcome to Wikki. Sorry to hear about the kids but maybe it was the right thing to do, they are old enough to know their own actions & mistakes!
Keep in touch, everyones great here,
Cindy

Thank you Cindy,

I like this place,I feel safe here, and it's plain to see that many others feel the same way,and was very pleased to see the mods had been proactive in keeping out the negativity on a thread I was reading earlier.

Be good,if not be very careful ;o)
